A reference sheet: what I do, how I work, and ways to get in touch.
About
I’m Ophelia, an independent designer based in Los Angeles. I make identities, systems, and campaigns for culture-led brands. At my best with a tight brief, room to play, and people who are fun but on point. More: About
Approach
The goal is creative with a clear throughline and editorial weight that holds up over time. To get there, I enjoy a little Type A on the front end and a little Type B on the back end approach that gives us the best of both worlds: enough structure to make sense, enough room to freestyle within it.
System:
When you need a campaign to look cohesive.
Identity:
When you need a core mark or visual foundation.
Merch:
When you need a one-off item that feels special.
01. Define: What are we calling things?
Name goals, constraints, audience, etc. so we solve the right problem.
02. Research: What context does this work exist within?
Explore where work comes from so creative is informed and durable.
03. Concept: What’s the throughline?
Create the big idea everything else revolves around.
04. Form: What shape do brand expressions take?
Build a system with touchpoints that look related but not repetitive.
05. Test: Do these ideas hold up in the real world?
Ensure assets hold up to how teams actually use them.
